Doctrine

The River Family Church is a member of the PCG.

  • You can find a full doctrinal statement of faith at the PCG website…

    …but in summery we hold to the establish orthodoxy shared by all mainstream Christian denominations while placing an emphasis on the importance of the work of the Holy Spirit as our counselor, comforter, instructor, and the source of our anointing in Christ Jesus the Lord.

  • We practice full immersion and use the baptismal we have onsite upon completion of our course on what it means to be born again.

  • Communion is regularly practiced at the first Sunday Morning Worship service of each month as well as special events and/or celebrations where it is deemed appropriate.

Hours

  • The office is open between Tuesdays and Fridays, 9:00am - 6:00pm

    • Sunday Morning Worship is from 10:00am to 11:30am

    • Monday Evening Prayer is from 6:00pm to 7:00pm

    • Tuesday Morning prayer is from 10:00am to 11:00am

    • Wednesday Evening Prayer is from 6:00pm to 7:00pm

  • On the first Monday of the month Valor Men and Women of Purpose groups meet (separately) at 7:00pm to 8:30pm.

If you need help with anything not mentioned simply contact us

  • Entering by the main gate on Mimosa Ave. there is an upper and lower parking lot and generally plenty of street parking on Mimosa Ave.

  • Restrooms are in the main building adjacent the River Garden.

  • At the moment children are seated with their care takers in the garden.

  • Our Sunday morning worship services are some what informal and leave room for the Holy Spirit to minister according to the needs of that day, but in generally, and in the order…
