The River Family Church has been established by God to be a worshiping church, dedicated to impacting our city, nation and world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Our mandate is to obey God, follow the example of our Lord Jesus, demonstrate God’s unconditional love, reach the lost and bring people to maturity in Christ through obedience to His Word. We are called to assist people in fulfilling their God-given destiny. The River is a place where all can find love, acceptance, help, forgiveness, encouragement and purpose. We are dedicated to fulfilling the Great Commission through worship, prayer, discipleship and evangelism in the power of the Holy Spirit. We are dedicated to building strong families. We are dedicated to obeying God and loving and serving Him with our lives. Our passion is to follow Jesus’ example on this earth with His love being the motivating force of all we do and say.

 Our Confession of Faith

Father, in Jesus Name we thank you that we are your children. You have joined us together as Your Family at The River and called us to obey you, love one another and touch our world. Help us to hear Your Voice, and walk in unity of heart. We declare that we have the same mind and that there is no division or strife among us. We speak the truth in love always.

We recognize that you are God, and everything was made by you. Help us to speak Your Word with boldness and we thank you that you will confirm it with signs following. We thank you that in our fellowship prayer is the priority. Your Word is most important; our worship touches Your heart. Every person serves in their place in the Body and all are ministers of The Gospel.

Thank you for strong marriages and families. Raise up apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers at The River for the edifying of Your Body, until we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a mature family. We speak protection over every member.

We thank you that you supply every need. We speak health and prosperity for all our fellowship. We walk in the favor of God. We thank you for your love demonstrated through the members of The River and for your wisdom and direction in all we do. We thank you for the facilities we need to do what you have called us to do as a Church.

We thank you for worship ministry, youth ministry, college ministry, children’s ministry, the ministry of helps, the outreach ministries and the ministries of each individual member. We say that our fellowship is prospering financially and we have more than enough to meet every situation. We have everything we need to carry out your great commission.

We are blessed to be a blessing. We are a people of love. We speak the Word. We call into being those things that be not as though they were. We thank you for your presence among us. We lift our hands and praise your Holy Name!
